Children's Program

Greetings from the Children's Program at OBUUC! In January, we returned to our Diversity Curriculum and started exploring our principles of "we should search for what is true and good" as well as "we should accept each other and help each other grow." We talked about such topics as Wealth and Poverty, accepting each for who and what we are but NOT having to accept bad behaviors and much, much more! We heard the story of the Sneeches, put on skits, made picture frames and memory books, and had tower-building competitions.

February in the Children's Program

In February we will take what we talked about in January and find ways to explore how we search for what is true and good. We will discuss people who made a difference and didn't let wrong prevail as well as ways we can do the right thing. We also have a Valentine's Day celebration.
