Olympia Brown’s Second Saturday Coffeehouse
To Feature Multiple Artists
The Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church announces its upcoming Second Saturday Coffeehouse to be held on Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 pm in the church sanctuary, 625 College Avenue, Racine. The Coffeehouse will present an original play, “It’s the Professor” by Kathy Zuhlke and Viki DuMez, featuring Evan Zuhlke, Siegfried Christoph, Cameron Spencer, Rene Buschell, Norm Worth, and Terry Meyers; soprano April Woods; poets Carol Lee Saffiotti-Hughes, Stephen Kalmar, and Trevor Lewis; and The Queen’s Madrigal Singers.
The event is free and open to the public, although free-will offerings will be accepted to support the Olympia Brown Chalice Lighters fund which assists families in need. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. for the 7:30 performance, and refreshments will be available for $1.00 before the show and during the intermission. All are invited to attend. Building is handicap accessible.
