“Joyfulness” – Led by our Worship Committee This service will be led by Christy Domanoski and Brandon Campbell with a theme of joy and happiness. Since this is the first Sunday of the month, we will have a Beyond-These-Four-Walls presentation at this service on the First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry which will be our offertory-outreach recipients for February.

“The Perseverance of Love” – Rev. Dr. Marlene Walker. Our Soul Matters theme for February is Perseverance. What is it about love that requires perseverance and what is it about perseverance that requires love? How are they related to each other?

“Perseverance and Resistance” – Rev. Dr. Marlene Walker. On this Sunday before President’s Day, we’ll be exploring the need for resistance in these times, and how we can persevere in that joining together in resistance of those who would deny full humanity to anyone.

“Spirit of Life” – Rev. Dr. Marlene Walker. One of the most commonly sung hymns is “Spirit of Life” by Carolyn McDade. What is it about this hymn that makes it so meaningful, and how does it sustain us in the work that we are called to do.
