Tony Pavao directed the OBUUC Choir from 1977-1994, and has returned. He has a B.Mus. in Vocal Music Education,
an M.Mus. in Theory-Composition from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, a M.Mus. from the University of Iliinois-Urbana in Voice and Opera, and further course work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He taught in public high schools for 29 years, at Carroll University for 10, and continues teaching voice privately, and also helps individuals referred to him by medical doctors and vocologists to restore ailing voices. He has worked in leading and comprimario roles in opera and musical theater, and as a soloist during his teaching career, and has directed plays and operas both in professional and amateur/school venues.
In his new retirement, he looks forward to conducting the OBUUC Choir once again.
